Sitting high above Hollywood, Outpost Estates offers stunning canyon views and a serene setting. Outpost Estates was originally a subdivision that was built in the 1920’s that consisted of primarily spanish houses until the 1930’s where the Outpost Homeowners Association started permitting other varieties of properties such as contemporary, mid-century modern, and traditional. To this day, Outpost Estates consists mainly of homes in Spanish, Mediterranean and California Modern style, however there has been a resurgence of contemporary homes being built in the area.The community is diverse and surrounded by nature and wildlife. Despite the idyllic nature, Outpost Estates is close to the heart of Hollywood and everything it has to offer such as the Hollywood Bowl, Runyon Canyon, Hollywood Boardwalk, and Universal Studios.

Laurel Canyon

Laurel Canyon makes up an exclusive and verdant neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills nestled between Sunset Plaza, Mount Olympus, Mulholland, and the Hollywood Flats.

Situated between the Sunset Strip, Mulholland, and Mount Olympus lies Laurel Canyon, which over the years has developed a rich history of being the setting for some of the largest rockstars of our generation. Rockstars and musicians such as Jim Morrison, Demi Lovato and The Eagles have all lived here throughout the last several decades. Laurel Canyon has been referenced by several critics to be the Topanga of the Hollywood Hills, which in other words, has generated a reputation of having a bohemian and hippie vibe to it. Laurel Canyon is also within the Wonderland Elementary School District, which is one of the best elementary schools in all of Los Angeles. Laurel Canyon also has excellent views from various residences but is more known for his canyon and naturey setting. Mount Olympus

The Mount Olympus neighborhood is a gated community, complete with a very involved homeowner’s association, ADT security 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with fairly strict community guidelines and policies. Unlike most areas within the Hollywood Hills, all of the electric/cable poles are submerged underground, thus creating opportunities for better, uncompromised views. Although you see homes of various styles here, more than 90% of the homes that have been remodeled or built from the ground up in the last few years have been contemporary. 

Nichols Canyon

Nichols Canyon makes up an exclusive neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills nestled between Mount Olympus, Outpost Estates, Mulholland, and the Hollywood Flats. 

With a somewhat rural vibe, Nichols Canyon radiates privacy, the nature and wildlife surrounding it contributing to the peace and tranquility. Nichols Canyon was originally founded and colonized in the late 1800’s and was named after John Nichols, who served as a mayor during that time and who was responsible for rapid expansion throughout Los Angeles. Throughout Nichols canyon you will see properties in all variations of style. At the highest point of Nichols Canyon you will get to Mulholland and within a walking distance from Runyon Canyon. 

Whitley Heights

Whitley Heights makes up an exclusive neighborhood in the Hollywood Hills nestled between Outpost Estates, Hollywood Dell, and the Hollywood Flats.

Whitley Heights is a historic neighborhood known for being a favorite enclave for silent film era-celebrities. Whitley Heights is one of the only neighborhoods where they are in a historical preservation zone, meaning that it is against the law to dramatically remodel or reconfigure any of the homes within this neighborhood. Many grand homes have been preserved and are still available today. 1920s Spanish and Mediterranean Revivals are prevalent, and Old Hollywood glamour permeates Whitley Heights real estate. 



Though it feels far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, Hollywood Hills East is close enough to the action to experience all that Hollywood has to offer. Beachwood Canyon & Bronson Canyon

Beachwood Canyon & Bronson Canyon are located just east of the Hollywood Dell and are centered around Beachwood Drive, extending to Canyon Drive on the east. The canyons are home to more than 22,000 residents and were first developed in the 1920s. The architects and landscapers who subdivided the enclave drew inspiration from the southern regions of France, Italy, and Spain. The original architecture found in Beachwood Canyon & Bronson Canyon is very much influenced by classical European design, however you are seeing more tasteful contemporary and mid-century restorations taking place in the area. As you get towards the top part of the canyon, you see the Hollywoodland community that was advertised in the 1920s by the Hollywood sign. Lake Hollywood and Lake Hollywood Park are also situated in the canyon. The canyon even features its own market, hip diner, and stables. Taking a trip up Canyon Drive through Bronson Canyon allows you to park at the base of the Bronson Canyon hiking trails with access to miles and miles of trails in Griffith Park.

Franklin Village 

Franklin Village makes up a small and entertainment driven neighborhood between Hollywood Dell, WeHo Flats, Beachwood Canyon, and Los Feliz Blvd.

Franklin Village is located on the southern edge of Beachwood Canyon. The small area boasts a major concentration of shops, restaurants, and bars, thus making the walkability of entertainment very robust for residents in the neighborhood. Some of the notable coffee shops, stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues include include American fare at Birds, French bistro La Poubelle, Van Leeuwen ice cream, Counterpoint Books and Records, The Oaks Gourmet, and the Upright Citizens Brigade theatre. Easily accessible from Beachwood and Bronson Canyons, Franklin Village caters to homeowners who prefer walkability to shops, restaurants, and entertainment over being nestled in the canyons, all while still being a stones throw away from the hiking trails and positive amenities that the canyons provide.
